I really like this idea. Never really got into the whole mouth triggers and battle saddles from the Fallout Equestria series. I mean, the recoil from the firearm would cause damage to the neck, teeth and jaw alone. As for battle saddles, how would you properly aim them. MLP has shown that the ponies can stand on there back legs and all the Royal Guards can use spears so it stand to reason that the ponies can sand, hold and properly aim weapons. I'm not bashing FoE by any means, but I find this pic to be a bit more realistic when it comes to firearms then compared to FoE.
WHY COULDN'T I REDISCOVER THIS SOONER!?! I spent hours looking for this particular piece of yours, but couldn't find it when I needed it for an example. Now it's too late. *sigh* Isn't that always the case though?
You're weapon may be more elegant Rare, but AJ's will give you more shots and greater accuracy. You'll be luck to hit anything more then 10 feet out with that thing, and it will take some time to reload.
Both fair points, but rifling and minne balls were not common with flint lock weapons. They tended to be (but admittedly not always) smooth bore and mostly fired balls. It would be more likely if she had a precision cap pistol. Even with a cap pistol, accuracy over a range isn't to great. My money is still on AJ.
